These consist of in ground and above ground bait stations.

In ground bait stations are installed around the perimeter of a dwelling and in highly conducive areas such as tree stumps and high moisture areas.  In ground systems work primarily by attracting termites to the bait station methods vary according to on the system chosen.  All in ground stations require monitoring at least 3 monthly.

We are certified installers of the below in ground systems;

EXTERRA the World's Number One Termite Protection System

Above ground bait systems are installed over termite shelter tubes and are baited with chlorfluazuron which is less toxic than table salt.

Termite Management Plans

Termiticide perimeter treatments are the most popular choice of treatment, these vary from non repellent to repellent and will stay active in the soil from between 5 to 10 years depending on product.  An annual inspection is required to ensure no breach or bridge.

What does non repellent mean?

Termites are unable to detect the product in the soil, which means as they continue to forage through the soil they unknowingly come into contact with the product.

What does repellent mean?

Termites are able to detect the product so will repel away from any treated zone

We use Termidor® and  Termidor®HE non repellent as our recommended Fipronil active constituent, there are also many other generic brands available upon request

We use PREMISE® 200SC non repellent as our recommended Imidacloprid, there are also many other generic brands available upon request

We use BIFLEX® Ultra repellent as our recommended Bifenthrin, there are also many other generic brands available upon request

Reticulation systems

We are certified installers of  the Altis Reticulation System.

Altis is a patented Reticulation System designed to effectively treat the area under concrete slabs, for protection against infestation by subterranean termites and around the external perimeter of structures to prevent termites from entering from the outside of a building.

The Altis System is unlike any other system, which uses pipes that have been perforated. The Altis system uses flexible unperforated pipes, which have emitters fabricated into the pipe. These emitters distribute chemical evenly at a measured rate to the entire system.
